Every kit performs 50 to 75 tests, so what separates them is breadth of coverage, not quantity. Why the MDMA kit is built the way it is

The three reagents in the MDMA kit are not redundant, they answer different questions:

Marquis screens. Purple to black indicates the MDMA class, and common substitutes stay yellow or orange. It cannot separate MDMA from MDA.
Simon's is the discriminator, and the reason this kit exists. It is a two-part reagent (A then B on the same sample). MDMA reacts blue; MDA does not react the same way. What none of these kits can tell you

This matters more than which kit you pick, and it is where most people misread what they bought:

Not dose or potency. A perfect Marquis result on a pill tells you nothing about whether it contains 60 mg or 250 mg.
Not purity. Reagents react to what is present; they do not quantify it.
Not everything in a mixture. A strong reaction from one substance can mask another.
Not fentanyl. Ever. Use a strip.
